Dear Representative:

I support the Baltimore Red Line because it will help make Baltimore a cleaner, greener, safer community for our families to live, work and play; help make travel in, out and around Baltimore quick, easy and affordable; help relieve traffic and parking problems in our community; and bring new jobs and a stronger economy to Baltimore.

Don’t let Baltimore be left behind. The time is right to build the Red Line like other cities across America have done. We need the Red Line, and we need it NOW! Bring the Red Line to Baltimore in 2012.

The success of Baltimore's future begins with a world-class transit system. The Red Line is at the core.

If 1,000 people ride the red line that’s going to be 1,000 cars that are off the streets and that’s important to me.

I support surface alignment of the red line on Boston Street because it represents a visible move to a greener Baltimore.

The red line could tie together the metro system and the light rail system that currently exist. It’s a great step forward.

We either plan now to do something about the transportation or watch Baltimore continue to struggle.
