Baltimore Red Line Website Put Baltimore to Work on the Red Line Make the Red Line Green Insist on Community-Centered Design Plan & Manage Construction
As 2009 comes to a close, we want to make sure you have the most
accurate and up-to-date information about the Red Line. For the past few
months, we have been working hard to create a new look for the project
and we invite you to visit the first step in this effort – our new red line website

To begin with, the website is structured around the milestone agreement
between city, state and non-government groups known as the Red Line
Community Compact. The document outlines the priorities of the project.
From anywhere on the website, you will be able to download each or all
sections of the Compact.

With more pictures, a redesigned red line map of the Red Line route, and close to a
dozen new video testimonials from local residents, we hope that everyone
will be able to take a moment to learn more about the project – both its
future and its past. The testimonials share firsthand how the Red Line project
will be a positive impact on the neighborhoods and the people of Baltimore.
Here are a few more highlights:
  • A detailed faq red line and downloadable red line fact sheet
  • A complete Resource Library that includes a news archive, useful links
to other rail projects in the United States and information about the
    Baltimore Regional Rail Plan
  • An album of historic photos showing how Baltimore used to look
with trolley cars in the street …and much more!
