Party Time for the Red Line in 2009
In 2009, the Red Line staff hosted informal get-togethers at homes and businesses located along the Red Line corridor. Anyone interested in hosting a party invited 10-15 of their neighbors over for about an hour. The Red Line staff was present to lead discussions and answer questions related to the benefits and impacts of the Red Line in their specific neighborhood. There will be additional opportunities for community members to host a house party as the project continues in the next phase of engineering and design.
